Our Services and Activities
STASSU tackles transport safety through a multi-pronged approach, focusing on:
- Road Safety: We advocate for safer roads and practices, implement educational programs, and provide critical support to reduce road traffic fatalities and injuries, a major concern in Uganda.
- Water Safety and Drowning Prevention: With Uganda’s numerous lakes and rivers, water safety is paramount. We educate communities on safe water practices to prevent drowning, especially among children.
- Child Injury Prevention: Our youngest citizens are particularly vulnerable. We work to reduce preventable childhood injuries, including those related to road traffic and water accidents.
- Sustainable Transport: We promote sustainable practices in the transport sector to minimize its environmental impact and ensure a healthier future for Uganda.
- Survivor Support Programme
